Hello all.Sorry about yesterdays update I had server issues. Anyway I
hope everyone is watching the beautiful Lucy Lawless on Duets and voting!!
Here is a email message I got from one of our readers
Lucy has made it to the finals of Celebrity Duets. We in the Lucy Lawless
fan club are asking you to spread the word, talk to everyone you know who
may please vote for Lucy. The show airs on Thursday Sept.28th at 9 p.m. Then
voting is for 2 hours immediately following the show. The results and final
show is Friday Sept.29th at 9.m.(U.S.A. East coast), Please support Lucy in
her quest to win money for charity. This is for the kids. Call the number on
the screen next week and when the recording picks up, hang up. then get back
on the phone, hit redial and vote again. As much as you can dial in the 2

Hi folks. Definitely feeling autumnal today. Cool and a lot of rain. I
flatly refuse to turn the heating on before October though. But I think it's
time to get my hoodie out of the wardrobe. I'm sitting here watching CSI at
the moment - season 6 coz we're behind you and haven't got the new one here
yet. It's the one with Hudson in... Callisto in stockings and suspenders and
biting... oh my!! While you all contemplate that image I'll get on with the
updates. *g*
But before I do... one of the great bards of the Xenaverse has a favour
to ask
Redhawk
Last weekend our most luvable fur kid, Lester, went into the nearest
emergency animal hospital. He was diagnosed with a urinary blockage, and it
was a pretty solid one. He ended up with a catheter for three days and two
nights before finally coming home. He's still kind of wobbly now, but that
probably has a lot to do with the muscle relaxants he's been prescribed to
encourage an easier time of urination. There's always the threat of relapse
in the first couple of weeks, so we're watching him rather closely. The
total cost of his bill is $1,071. Ouch! Normally, we'd bite the bullet on
this one, but it's an unfortunate fact that I will be out of work for a
minimum of two months next spring. We are scraping together our savings to
cover rent and utilities for that time period. (Don't get me wrong. There
will be SOME work, but not a full-time job from April through May.) Hence,
I'm auctioning off a few items. The auction will begin as soon as the page
goes up. It'll end at midnight on October 5th. I will update the page as

There are no chirpy little chats about the weather today. Today is not a
day for that. Today is a day for reflection and remembrance. Exactly five
years ago today a group of fanatics boarded four aeroplanes and then used
those planes to commit an evil and despicable act of cowardice and
terrorism. Many innocent lives were lost that day and many have been lost
since because of that day. Including that of Pam a dear friend of our site
administrator Heartbrknbard. As you go about your lives today please spare a
thought for Pam; for the thousands who died that day and for all those
murdered by the acts of terrorists worldwide.

I'm baaaack!!! Was I missed???? I hope soo. I would like to give Ilene
and Zero a huge thank you for filling in for me. You guys are awesome and I
am glad you are on my team!! Well I am still relaxed ,even though I did have
to go back to work. My son started school and this year will be a stuff one.
I can't beleive summer has come and gone. I think way to fast this
year(cause I was so busy) 9/11 is around the corner and that to freaks me
out. Still very hard for me to handle. Another year gone by. Geez, I am
