An uber seasonal story
This story is set some seventy years before Babylon 5 becomes operational. In it, one of the two main characters that I am introducing is a fictional distant descendant of the actress Hudson Leick (a.k.a. 'Callisto'), and a Psi Cop - one of the elite force assigned to enforce Earth Alliance laws and Psi Corps regulations concerning telepaths. The story is patterned after some of the 'Father Flanagan' type of movie that were made back in the 1950's.
This story is based upon the Book Series 'The Psi Corps Trilogy', by J. Gregory Keyes, which is itself based upon the TV Series 'Babylon 5', by J. Michael Straczynski.
The events of this story take place following the Fourth Season 'Xena: Warrior Princess' episode 'A Family Affair'. The story itself was written prior to the initial airing of the India arc, or any other 'Eli' episodes, which is why it somewhat anticipates the Eli arc, but does so in a *very* different fashion from said story arc.
A seasonal story
The story takes place sometime in Season 6 of Xena: Warrior Princess, after "Old Ares Had a Farm." The plot is loosely based on the episode "When Fates Collide.
The plot of Second Chances presumes an alternate story line that diverges from the official one somewhere in the last five minutes of the Season 6 Xena, Warrior Princess episode, "Coming Home." Besides the very different development of the relationship between Xena and Ares, this version has other departures from X:WP "canon"; for instance, Xena's mother, Cyrene, is still alive when Xena returns to Amphipolis after her 25-year sleep. In addition to X:WP, some elements of this story were inspired by the film "Unforgiven" (1992), directed by and starring Clint Eastwood.

A first time story. As Xena and Gabrielle settle in for the day, Gabrielle gets bored and invites Xena to have a little fun - with something else in her bardic mind of course.
You knew there had to be a sequel to How Do You Mend A Broken Heart (http://merwolf.com/academy/fanfic/a/alivali_brokenheart1.html), and here it is. Harry and Desi are busy building a life together after Byron and his family have been shipped off to the Angola State Penitentiary. The happy couple are expecting a baby and happy ever after, only in "All It Took Was You" they get so much more.
Set at college, Kyra is a girl who's starting to get her life back after a dark period. Even though she had told herself she'd never play soccer again, meeting Danni, the captain of the school's team, changes that and it isn't long before she realizes the blonde quickly works her way into her heart. Trying to win the title with the team and wrestling with her growing feelings is big struggle, complicated by past actions and a fear to let someone in once again.

From Christmas day on I will be leaving you in Barry's hands cause my butt will be on a plane(yes, a plane) to Las Vegas..I am so excited. I think this is going to be a mental health vacation. Hi everyone!! I am back safe and sound(thank the gods)It was a great seeing Janice. She is a most amazing person, and I am proud to say that I know her. We laughed sooo much , I think it was great for all of us. Janice told me that she hasnt been this happy in months. And thanked me for coming to see her and spend time with her. I have to say that put a tear to my eye, in a happy and sad way. Janice didn't start Chemo yet, but she is this week. I was thinking about starting a donation type of thing for her.( to help with the medical and living expenses)If any one is willing to help is this manner email me and I can give you an address where to send it to. Maybe I can give it to her as a belated Christmas present.

Comedy which starts right after AFIN. The story takes a decided turn after the heartache as Xena learns that being a ghost, while frustrating for Gabrielle, can be fun.
Jackie takes up residence in her new house, only to find that it's haunted by a less than pleasant ghost by the name of Creed.

Her psyche shatters, and she becomes a multiple personality to survive. When it seems that she has escaped, her very nature brings about a horrific incident that both frees her imprisons her, physically and emotionally. How she once again finds freedom through the intervention of a creature of the night paves the way for a planned series of books.

Ok people I am tired, I need to get to sleep early. So I am doing the update early today.
Janice Covington and Mel Pappas are spending *another* Christmas overseas. The year is 1944. The news from the front line has been bad for over a week now, as the Battle of the Bulge is in full swing at this point.
Picture a version of the Third Season Rift where Xena and Gabrielle are apart for more than a year, in which Xena's life follows the sequence of events shown in late Third thru mid Fourth Seasons fairly well, but not so Gabrielle's. This story follows what happens to Gabrielle, and takes place early in the alternate Fourth Season. The events of 'Bitter Suite' do *NOT* take place in this version, with the possible exception of Queen-Regent Ephiny's arm being broken by Xena.
This story starts out like most of my other alternate Rift Resolution stories, but this time, the Third Season Rift proves to last for over a year, before diligence, patience, and blind luck give Xena her dream shot - to heal it. A lot of the information in the story is from the Fifth Season of 'H:TLJ', as well as from the Third and Fourth Seasons of 'X:WP'.
This story takes place late in the Fifth Season of the TV Series 'Xena: Warrior Princess'. In fact, it comes after the events in the episode titled 'Amphipolis Under Siege'. Certain of the Olympians, having failed to kill Eve, have chosen to try out another way to deal with the consequences of her birth. A way that the mortals themselves had pointed towards

This story is based upon the first two episodes of the 'Norse Trilogy', titled 'Das Rheingold', and 'Der Ring'. However, I am deliberately going with a much different ending for the saga, one which will truly earn Gabrielle the title of 'Sleeping Beauty'
This story centers on Xena's daughter, Eve, and is set some thirty years in the future. It was, however, written prior to my seeing the last four episodes of Fifth Season, so may not bear much resemblance to the Eve as Livia story line, despite some rewriting to bring it into line. In this story, Eve now has *two* sets of bitter enemies: the Romans, who now regard her as a traitor, and whatever's left of the Olympians.
This story takes place in India, following the events in the Fourth Season 'Xena:Warrior Princess' Episode titled 'Devi', but prior to the events in 'Between the Lines'. It involves just what the title implies - and a whole lot more.
Yet *another* Alternate Third Season Rift Resolution story. (For a while there I just couldn't stay off that subject!) This time Gabrielle flees Xena's wrath over Solan's death, to the one place she thinks even Xena can't find her - the distant future, with no way back. (At least it's the distant future to her.)
This story is a sequel of my story, 'A Chance Encounter', and takes place following the events depicted in the Fifth Season 'Xena: Warrior Princess' Episode titled 'Fallen Angel'. Keep in mind that Prince Kashta loves Gabrielle very much, despite the brevity of their time together.
Yet another alternate resolution to the Third Season Rift. This one is based upon the idea that no matter how angry she is with Gabrielle, Xena still takes the concept of the Honorable Warrior seriously, and that Gabrielle is willing to do *anything* to salvage their friendship. This story follows the Third Season 'Xena: Warrior Princess' episode titled 'Maternal Instincts'. Gabrielle's poem is from the episode 'Bitter Suite'. The nightmare is from the Fourth Season 'Hercules: The Legendary Journeys' episode titled 'Armageddon Now; Part Two'.

Day 4 of Hanukkah. My son and I lit the candles and said some prayers. It is so cool to see him so interested in it. I don't know if I mentioned to you guys that my son started going to religious instruction(Jewish). Usually it is for Katacizim(sp??) but they started it here for all religions. Anyway to make a long story short, he absolutely LOVES it!! (especially the fact that he has the best of both worlds. I have a tree and Hanukkah lights.) Anyway tomorrow is my last update before I go see Janice, so be kind to Barry. Oh that reminds me- Love your decorations Barry. ;)

"MEET ME IN THE STAIRWELL "
You say you will never forget where you were when you
heard the news On September 11, 2001. Neither will I.
I was on the 110th floor in a smoke filled room with
a man who called his wife to say "Good-Bye." I held
his fingers steady as he dialed. I gave him the peace
to say, "Honey, I am not going to make it, but it is
OK...I am ready to go."
I was with his wife when he called as she fed
breakfast to their children. I held her up as she
tried to understand his words and as she realized he
wasn't coming home that night.
I was in the stairwell of the 23rd floor when a
woman cried out to Me for help. "I have been knocking
on the door of your heart for 50 years!" I said. "Of
course I will show you the way home - only believe in
Me now."
I was at the base of the building with the Priest
ministering to the injured and devastated souls. I
took him home to tend to his Flock in Heaven. He heard
my voice and answered.
I was on all four of those planes, in every seat,
with every prayer. I was with the crew as they were
overtaken. I was in the very hearts of the believers
there, comforting and assuring them that their faith
has saved them.
I was in Texas, Kansas, and London. I was standing next
to you when you heard the terrible news. Did you sense

All I'll say about this one is that you're in for a bit of a surprise - maybe.
It doesn't take a prophet or seer to guess how the Amazons would react to the deaths of Xena and Gabrielle, as portrayed in the Fourth Season Episode 'Ides of March'. I wrote this story prior to seeing the Fifth Season Episode 'Fallen Angel', which explains why Amarice returned to Themiscyra in my story, instead of staying to help Eli and Joxer (and Callisto!) resurrect our two soulmate, as on the show.
A certain psycho's long lost and thought to be dead twin sister returns to the Classical Greco-Roman World, on the 'Retribution' timeline. The Amazons' War of Retribution against Rome is in full swing, as is the second Roman Civil War in less than a decade.
This story takes place in the 'Xena the Conqueror' timeline, a little over a century after the events shown in the H:TLJ Fourth Season Episode titled 'Armageddon Now: Part 2'. The primary character is a descendant of Gabrielle's sister Lila, who bears a lot of resemblance to the Bard of Potidaea - in more ways than one.

Long day at work. Just about finished Christmas shopping. Vertigo sent me this and I thought I would post it:
TWAS THE NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS,
HE LIVED ALL ALONE,
IN A ONE BEDROOM HOUSE MADE OF
PLASTER AND STONE.
I HAD COME DOWN THE CHIMNEY
WITH PRESENTS TO GIVE,
AND TO SEE JUST WHO
IN THIS HOME DID LIVE.
I LOOKED ALL ABOUT,
A STRANGE SIGHT I DID SEE,
NO TINSEL, NO PRESENTS,
NOT EVEN A TREE.
NO STOCKING BY MANTLE,

OF FAR DISTANT LANDS.
