Happy Halloween everyone!! Yes, it's me, Heartbrkn,I'm back. Can you believe I am going on that cruise?? I am sooo excited. All I am doing now is thinking about that to keep my mind off of Janice and the WTC. I saw them haul off a huge piece of burnt metal today.(On the way home from work) My mouth just hung open. I was so..umm..taken back. But we wont think of that, right? right! We will think of happy things, like Hudson Leick, trick or treat and pumpkin pie(yummy. • I need everyone out there to pray for my friend Janice. She is a bard and her stories can be found on my site(Heartbrkns Place and on Tiggs Place) She went for a mammogram and her Doctor said the preliminary diagnosis is 'Inflammatory Carcinoma' i.e. fast moving cancer. She is going for a biopsy tomorrow.If the biopsy confirms this diagnosis there will be an immediate mastectomy.Please included my friend Janice in your daily prayers..thank you. God Bless, stay safe and PRAY!!~ Heartbrkn

  A note from T Novan
  Since everything that has happened since September 11th I've been feeling like there should be SOMETHING I can do in my limited capacity, so I've come up with this idea.

  I want to get emails sent to me which I will bind and send off to the fighter fighters and the police officers and other rescue workers in NY and Washington. I've set up a special email addy for it and I'd like to get as many emails as possible to send out. I'll keep sending them as long as I get them.   Ok went home the same way again, so why did I look? Because I just had to. Have to convince myself that it is really here in my city. (sigh) So sad. I am currently watching the History Channel as I type away to you guys, and it is a Memorial to the WTC and the people we lost in the attack. I think it was always aired to show but now because of the Bombing they turned it into a memorial show.... Amazing, beautiful building......~Heartbrkn

  What a day. I need to get this off my chest, so I am going to start form the beginning.
  As you all know by now I live in NY. I work in NYC (midtown, not too close to teh WTC) and live in Brooklyn. Pre-war, I would normally get a lift to work or most days get a lift home from work, so I wouldn't have to take a hour and ten minute train ride (and that's each way). With all that has happened here in my city the trains have been mobbed, delayed and some closed down. The bridges and tunnels have been worse. They was almost no possible way to get form NYC to Brooklyn with out it taking over 2 hours.

  Anyway, on Saturday they opened the BBT (Brooklyn battery tunnel), which is downtown a few blocks from the WTC, which is the way to my home(g). (smiling) Me, being very excited about this, asked if I could get a lift home. Which I did. (Now here is what is bothering me) On the drive home, driving up to the BBT, I was trying to get a glimpse at what happened, saw a lot of nothing. I was empty air, bright lights and very very scary. As we turned the corner to go into the BBT i turned around in the front seat, and there between two small buildings was the little tiny frame of what was left of the WTC ( and of course all this gray debris around it) I can't get that vision out of my head!! My jaw dropped. It's real!! It happened!! and in my city!!

  Don't get me wrong, I am not in denile. But seeing it was soooooo different then the tv or the newspapers. Listening to it last night on tv, and the firemen saying over and over again the city of "Brooklyn" lost so many firemen, I felt like I was watching a scary movie. It was sick. All I kept thinking was "Hey that's where I live." But I have to say the ride home tonight really slapped me in the face with reality. I am sorry if I blabbered too much tonight, but I am really affected by this. It's a image I will never, ever forget.

  Ok enough of that, something happy to mention....thinking...I know..Beck Hammon...you know the WNBA (Xena sports page star) has a new pic up on her site...And by the gods...THUD.... She definitely can get my mind off of things for a while. Sexy Becky Check it out!!~ Heartbrkn

The quest for the stolen chalice is just a sham - an excuse to get rid of Tevi, and save her clan further embarrassment. She finds the outside world a dangerous and confusing place, especially once her arrival triggers a chain of events she has no control over. Monsters, sorcerers, murder and a long hidden secret all await her. If this isn't enough, Tevi will have to overcome her own inner demons and figure out exactly what she wants from life.

  Another day, another dollar(g) Anyway all is ok on the home front. Can the person who mailed me the newspapers please email me, (sheepish grin) I lost your email addy and I want to thank you. On a happier note, I called my son today form work(like I do everyday) to see how school was, and he said "Mom, I learned a new song today in school, can I sing it to you." I said "sure, go ahead." So he started singing "God Bless America"...I wanted to hug him right through the phone. I tell you, 8 year olds are great!!   I just watched all three of D.S.Baudens video. I recommend if you didn't see them go to her site and check them out, they are awesome just like her(g) But anyway I writing to tell you after watching those videos it got me thinking how much I lost this year(Pam,Xena and Gabrielle) But on another note how much I have gained. I have made so many new friend through and because of those that I lost, so from every sad thing comes a good one. Right? Right.

  If I knew it would be the last time I would be there to share your day, well I'm sure you'll have so many more so I can let just this one slip away.

  For surely there's always tomorrow to make up for an oversight, and we always get a second chance to make everything right.

  There will always be another day to say our," I love you's," And certainly there's another chance to say our. " Anything I can do's?"

  But just in case I might be wrong, and today is all I get, I'd like to say how much I love you and I hope we never forget.

  Tomorrow is not promised to anyone, young or old alike, And today may be the last chance you get to hold your loved one tight.

  So if you're waiting for tomorrow, why not do it today? For if tomorrow never comes, you'll surely regret the day,

  I can't believe it is October already..Yikes I feel like my live is passing me by. Anyway, hope all is well with everyone and this smile is for Baltic bard(smile)You see girl,I am smiling....lol...ok I have another poem to post that someone sent me. I can't post every single one I get but I try to post as many as possible. So here is this one: God bless...stay safe....~Heartbrkn
  Two Thousand One, Nine Eleven~~
  Two thousand one, nine eleven
  Five thousand plus arrive in heaven
  As they pass through the gate,
  Thousands more appear in wait
  

  A bearded man with stovepipe hat
  Steps forward saying,
  "Lets sit, lets chat"
  

  They settle down in seats of clouds
  A man named Martin shouts out proud
  "I have a dream!" and once he did
  The Newcomer said, "Your dream still lives."
  

  Groups of soldiers in blue and gray
  Others in khaki, and green then say
  "We're from Bull Run, Yorktown, the Maine"
  The Newcomer said, "You died not in vain."
  

  From a man on sticks one could hear
  "The only thing we have to fear.
  The Newcomer said, "We know the rest,
  trust us sir, we've passed that test."
  

  "Courage doesn't hide in caves
  You can't bury freedom, in a grave,"
  The Newcomers had heard this voice before
  A distinct Yankees twang from Hyannisport shores
  

  A silence fell within the mist
  Somehow the Newcomer knew that this
  Meant time had come for her to say
  What was in the hearts
  of the five thousand plus that day
  

  "Back on Earth, we wrote reports,
  Watched our children play in sports
  Worked our gardens, sang our songs
  Went to church and clipped coupons
  

  We smiled, we laughed, we cried, we fought
  Unlike you, great we're not"
  

  The tall man in the stovepipe hat
  Stood and said, "don't talk like that!
  Look at your country, look and see
  You died for freedom, just like me"
  

  Then, before them all appeared a scene
  Of rubbled streets and twisted beams
  Death, des! truction, smoke and dust
  And people working just 'cause they must
  

  Hauling ash, lifting stones,
  Knee deep in hell
  But not alone
  

  "Look! Blackman, Whiteman, Brownman, Yellowman
  Side by side helping their fellow man!"
  So said Martin, as he watched the scene
  "Even from nightmares, can be born a dream."
  

  Down below three firemen raised
  The colors high into ashen haze
  The soldiers above had seen it before
  On Iwo Jima back in '44
  

  The man on sticks studied everything closely
  Then shared his perceptions on what he saw mostly
  "I see pain, I see tears,
  I see sorrow - but I don't see fear."
  

  "You left behind husbands and wives
  Daughters and sons and so many lives
  are suffering now because of this wrong
  But look very closely. You're not really gone.
  

  All of those people, even those who've never met you
  All of their lives, they'll never forget you
  Don't you see what has happened?
  Don't you see what you've done?
  You've brought them together, together as one.
  

  With that the man in the stovepipe hat said
  "Take my hand," and from there he led
  five thousand plus heroes, Newcomers to heaven
  On this day, two thousand one, nine one eleven
