SO I went to the exposure dinner. It was very cool!! I got to meet some really nice new people and put faces to ones I already knew. I was amazed at first how a few people were staring at me like they knew me or something, then I realized, duh, my picture is on this web site(g). So I am known as the Debbie Black hater huh? YEP!! That would be me(g), and proud of it!!..While I was talking to my friend Danielle Kearns(yes thee Danielle) she told me that she was in the village(that would be in NY were I am from) and across the street from the bar that she was at was a police station with a memorial in the front to my friend PAM!! I thought that was wonderful. Danielle thank you for that info. Well I am tired had a long day and night out (first one out since this all occurred) so on with the update..oh and remember god bless ~Heartbrkn

Hi everyone. Another Jewish holiday is approaching tonight, Yom Kippur, day of atonement. So I must go and do as the holiday calls for, ask god forgiveness for my sins, and light a candle for all those close to me that have passed on. I think I will light 2 extra candles tonight, one for Pam(of coarse) and one for all those that we have lost and have yet to be found.(sad eye) Seems one candle for that is just not enough, but will have to do. ~ Heartbrkn

(as well as other cast members) from Creation Entertainment, rare collectibles,
hard to get magazines and many items too numerous to mention. All proceeds
go to benefit the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund. Bidding starts
Friday, Sept. 21st, 2001 and will end Wednesday, September 26th at 11:00
PM EST.
It made me think for a minute today when I read my all my email. People wrote
to me that they like my daily updates on my life. I sat back in my computer
chair, and thought "WOW, please really care about how I am feeling, they
are talking about my tragady with there lovers/spouses. They are relating
to me by newspapers and pictures. I am topic of conversation while some are
in thier livingrooms, naked on there couches.... lol....lol... kidding (my
sense of humor is back, hope I didnt offend anyone.) But seroiusly I think
it is really cool. And I am gratful to all. Ok guys I hope you don't mind,
but I am going to post the artical about my friend Pam.(the one I told you
guys about yesterday) Judy sent it to my email, amd will send me the actual
newspaper snail mail. I think it is amazing that papers all over the USA
are posting her name and picture. ok maybe amazing is not the right word,
but it so helps me deal with things better. Why I don't know , but it does.

Pamela J. Boyce, 43, is one of only several dozen World Trade Center workers who have officially been confirmed dead, while thousands more remain missing.
Boyce, a resident of Dyker Heights, Brooklyn, worked on the 92d floor of One World Trade Center as assistant vice president of accounting for the New York office of Carr Futures.
Catherine Anello, Boyce's partner, told the New York Times that Boyce was a no-nonsense person who wouldn't want her loved ones to be overcome by grief.
"If there was someone who lost a loved one and had been grieving too long, so that they were not living their life, she would say, 'Stop. It's not what they would want. They are in a better place.'" Anello said. "She said, 'I'm not afraid to die because I know where I am going is beautiful.'"

I got one of the most amazing emails. I feel like I am in shock about it.
A fan wrote me that she has been keeping up with my posts about losing my
friend,Pam,in the WTC. Well she was reading a southern paper(assuming she
is form there) and She found a picture and a small write up about PAM!!!!

post-FIN Xena the Conqueror. An XWP fan is sent back in time by Aphrodite to prevent the mistake in Japan from happening and saving our two heroes, but wakes up on Judgment Day in the arena with the Conqueror.
Gabrielle has had about all she can take from the warrior. Storming out of a tavern and leaving a confused Warrior Princess behind, the Bard just wants some peace and quiet. Finding herself escorted by a member of her Royal Guard to a local party, she discovers that a piece is rarely quiet.

Sorry for the lack of update yesterday. I needed to get out of town for the weekend. Just different scenery and stuff, and with no phones,tv,computer. (I guess someone thought I needed to relax and get away from it all.) ANyway I am feeling a little better today. I have my up and down days. I'm just in a bad space is all. I can't shake this yucky feeling I have. And if asked to explain it I really can't pin point it to one thing. (ok, I am PMS too) I just want to sit in the corner and cry. OMG!! I came home today to 18 emails about "Amazing Grace" and 16 of them said Judy Collins sings it the best. It was the funniest thing, i opened email after email, and they all said Judy Collins. So I think I will get Judy Collins. Thank you all for taking the time out to even email me with a response. It is truely appreciated.
My good friend D.S. Bauden(a wonderful,wonderful person and bard, whom I have the privilege of meeting and knowing) sent me a recent video she made of the duo, Xena and Gabrielle, in a farewell tribute to them. She wanted to make me think of something else besides death for a few minutes. I have to say she succeeded. It was/is a beautiful video and I recommend that everyone check it out. I cried happy tears for those two. Believe it or not even though I update you guys on a daily basis with fanfic, I havn't thought of X and G in week since this started. And actually this week feels like a month. So hats off to D.S. Bauden!!

Happy Rosh Hashana(Jewish New Year)to all my Jewish friends out there. I
myself am Jewish. and hope that this will truely be a better year. For all
those that have emailed with concern about how I was doing, I am ok. I am
taking it day by day and trying to get out of this funk I seemed to put myself
into. I know,I know, it's expected due to the circumstance, but I really
need to snap out of it if I ever want to be happy in my personal and my
motherhood life again. I am trying though.
I want to thank Barry for helping me out with the updates the last few days.
I had the wake to go to Saturday night, and believe you me, it was the saddest
event I had to attend since I lost my grandparents. But she was found, and
she didn't suffer, and we have closure unlike thousands of families who dont't
and never will.
From a email I received today there is supposed to be another candle lighting
ceremony at 10pm est(whatever time that would be in you state.) I don't know
if it is true or a really sick hoax someone started, but FYI I light my candle
every night, a ST.Anthony candle, the saint of miracles(so I am told, remember
I am Jewish) so if everyone else wants to join me then come on, because I

Well, I'm finally back home after being evacuated from tropical storm Gabrielle. She didn't do much damage, but I only live about 2 feet above sea level, so I had to leave temporarily. I would also like to thank all of you for your condolences and emails. Barry

An open letter to a terrorist: (author unknown)
Well, you hit the World Trade Center, but you missed America. You hit the Pentagon, but you missed America. You used helpless American bodies, to take out other American bodies, but like a poor marksman, you STILL missed America.
Why? Because of something you guys will never understand. America isn't about a building or two, not about financial centers, not about military centers, America isn't about a place, America isn't even about a bunch of bodies.
America is about an IDEA. An idea, that you can go someplace where you can earn as much as you can figure out how to, live for the most part, like you envisioned living, and pursue Happiness. (No guarantees that you'll reach it, but you can sure try!)
Go ahead and whine your terrorist whine, and chant your terrorist litany: "If you cannot see my point, then feel my pain." This concept is alien to Americans. We live in a country where we don't have to see your point. But you're free to have one. We don't have to listen to your speech. But you're free to say one. Don't know where you got the strange idea that everyone has to agree with you.
There's a spirit that tends to take over people who come to this country, looking for opportunity, looking for liberty, looking for freedom. Even if they misuse it.
You guys seem to be incapable of understanding that we don't live in America, America lives in US! American Spirit is what it's called. And killing a few thousand of us, or a few million of us, won't change it. Most of the time, it's a pretty happy-go-lucky kind of Spirit. Until we're crossed in a cowardly manner, then it becomes an entirely different kind of Spirit.
Wait until you see what we do with that Spirit, this time.
Sleep tight, if you can. We're coming.

In honor of my friend and everyone else that we lost
to this awful tragedy. My son and I lit a candle a 7:00pm. Hundreds of people
in my area walked up and down the streets with candles lit for an hour. My
son and I cried. He said to me "Mom, I am so sad for your friend. Those people
are idiots that did this." I reassured him that all will be ok one day, and
that Mommies friend was up in heaven with the angels. And all the other beautiful
people that he and I had known to go there to are taking care of her. He
looked at me with his teary eyes and responded "But I would have taken care
of her right down here myself." I just cried along with him.
On another note: I can't thank EVERYONE enough for all the support you guys have given me. I am thankful to be alive.

Very sad news today. They found my friends body in the Morgue. She was/is
all intact(thank the gods), no burn marks but her face was almost unrecognizable.
She didn't even know what hit her(sniff) I cried all day at work. She was
so young and had her life ahead of her.
I will not be updating today but I do want to ask all of you a favor. If
all of us webmistresses,bards, fans, readers can join the President tomorrow
(posting on our lists, on our sites,to ourselves) a day of prayers and silence.
Just a prayer for all the people that have died and for my friend, to find
peace in heaven and know that they will never be forgotten...ever...Heartbrkn

I have to say I am very honored for all the many emails I got, sending good
thoughts. To date my friend hasn't been found. I went to work today(because
I had) which was best for me, it kept me busy. I got an email at work(sniff)
saying she was still missing and from what they know she was in her office
at the time(where the plane hit) and she didn't...(sniff) .....know what
hit her...By the gods she was 41 years old!! But i have to say I still am
holding on to faith...maybe just maybe she is one of those many victims that
can't remember who she is, or is in the hospital. I cried myself to sleep
last night and this morning.
Well i am posting a little update for you....May god watch over you and
yours..And remember, Live each day to its fullest, be happy, make someone
smile. And always, I repeat Always tell someone you love them, each and everyday.

I am sure you all know what happened today in NYC. Which pretty much affected
the USA. Well I live in NY and work in the city. I am still in shock!! I
just also found out that my friend who works in the Trade Center has not
been heard from, not even by her lover, since 830 this morning. She can't
be gone she can't!!! I just can't deal right now.
If I miss a update or two in the next few days..well my heads not into it
right now. Lets send prayers out there for all that have lost, and live life
to the fullest because you never know when it's going to end. Hug your other
half everyday and dont leave home without telling them you love them, because
you many never get that chance again.(sniff)
